Nest and Nurture Learning
Welcome
I provide a cozy, in-home child care program where curiosity is celebrated and childhood is cherished. At Nest and Nurture Learning, children ages 2–6 grow through play, explore their interests, and build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Rooted in care. Growing through play.
Nest and Nurture Learning was created to feel like a second home—a space where young children are free to learn, play, and discover at their own pace. My play-based approach encourages creativity, independence, and joy. Every child is seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
The Program
Here, children are given the time and space to be little—to wonder, to try, to laugh, and to grow.
What I Offer:
•Small group setting for individualized care
• Play-based curriculum that supports early development
• Safe, welcoming home environment
• Emphasis on social-emotional growth, creativity, and nature-based learning

Nourishing Little Bodies & Minds
At Nest and Nurture, I believe that good nutrition is an essential part of healthy child development. That’s why I provide balanced, home-cooked meals each day—including breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
Meals are thoughtfully prepared with a variety of whole foods from all major food groups. I prioritize fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables, and I avoid highly processed or prepackaged items whenever possible. My goal is to nourish growing bodies while fostering a positive relationship with food.
We practice family-style dining, where children are encouraged to serve themselves, try new foods, and build independence. I join the children at the table to model healthy habits, demonstrate table manners, and share in the joy of a shared meal. Mealtimes are calm, connected moments that support both nutrition and social development.
Allergens & Dietary Accommodations
At Nest and Nurture Learning, I understand the importance of keeping children safe and healthy. I’m happy to accommodate most common allergens and dietary requirements to the best of my ability. However, please note that my home is not a nut-free environment.
In addition, my home is pet-friendly, which may be important information for families with pet allergies or sensitivities.
The Curriculum
Playful, Purposeful, and Centered on the Child.
At Nest and Nurture Learning, the curriculum is play-based, child-led, and developmentally appropriate. I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploration, and meaningful connection.
Our days are guided by a mix of thematic learning and interest-led activities—allowing space for creativity, curiosity, and joy. Whether we’re diving into a seasonal theme, building with blocks, or exploring bugs in the backyard, every moment is an opportunity for growth.
I focus on supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically—while honoring each child’s unique pace and personality.

Connecting with Nature
At Nest and Nurture, we spend as much time playing outdoors as possible. Whether we’re digging in the sandbox, collecting treasures, watching clouds, or simply running barefoot through the grass, nature is an extension of our classroom. When the weather permits, children are welcome to explore barefoot—feeling the earth beneath their feet and connecting with the world in a sensory-rich, grounding way. These daily experiences foster curiosity, confidence, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. I believe that childhood should be full of fresh air, muddy hands, and wide-open wonder.
Daily Rhythm
At Nest and Nurture Learning, each day follows a consistent rhythm that supports children’s well-being, development, and joy. My schedule blends structure with flexibility, allowing children to thrive through play and meaningful routines.
